9 June 2018 – Today is
Tonya’s Birthday. Her friends are going to have a small party for
her later in the afternoon. Today I’m going to find a car wash so I
can wash my motorcycle. Larry and I have driven around looking for a
car wash where you can hand wash your car or motorcycle. It seems the
city of Walnut doesn’t have such a facility. We finally decided to
make a stop at a parts store and purchased Gunk Jell degreaser,
Turtle wax that you put in your wash water, 3 quarts of 15w-40 Shell
Rotella oil, a drain pan, one box of shop towels and a large plastic
funnel. We also stopped and purchased 2 gallons of water. My brother
says the city water pressure is quite high and should wash off almost
all the grease with the help of the Gunk Jell Degreaser. I was
skeptical but I thought I would give it a try. Before I do that
though, I have to clean up because we are going to Tonya’s birthday
party and I have to look semi-respectable. 
We all went to an Asian
Restaurant where we ate Tonya’s favorite foods with her longtime
friends. Tanya looked very nice and happy. The food was typical
Asian food to me, very tasty, but the other guests all knew what it
was. Her friends produced a delicious fruit cake.
We all took a
group picture, sang Happy Birthday to her and then enjoyed a piece of
her cake.
